Roz Driscoll: The integration of site, home and garden to region, neighborhood, energy sources and contemporary ways of living is impressive. The orientation to street, sun, garden and entryway create privacy and protection in a very small space and make the most of a small lot. The identical bedrooms is an appealing idea--we like familiarity.

Tergos: Thank you. Slide no. 2 is the seller : I hadn't even read the text and I understood immediately the permaculture integrated in the design. This is where architecture has to go : an intimate marriage between vegetation and construction. Let the edible climbing beans provide the summer shade, let the heat-loving sprawling melons and zucchini shade the rooftops.... It is a pleasure for us to be with you for the finals.

Christopher Hart: This should be built as a model home...I'd live in it in a heartbeat!

Allan R. Wright: The entire 'Institute for Human Centered Design' layout illustrates purposeful and deliberate direction for future sustainability, efficiency and custom adjustability through its design. The designers are obviously attentive to their immediate environment, the neighborhood as a cohesive whole, with an eye on the occupants needs throughout their life-stream. We gain greater understanding of how we can accomodate ourselves, within our home environment, by studying the way this design has accomplished its overall goals for the Free Green, Who's next design requirements.

Marcelo Pinto Guimaraes: This housing design shows a powerful view of people living in harmony with their neighbors in a sustainable and safe community. It does not suggest dramatic shifts from people´s imagination. The house was very well designed to enhance mobility and that does not overshadow other important considerations such as privacy for active social interaction in both indoor and outdoor activities despite distinct weather conditions. It is a house for many generations to enjoy living together, supporting each other and growing older with dignity.

Dr. Ted Landsmark: This is a thoughtful and sensitive design that appeals both to the sensibilities of those interested in sustainability, and to those with present and future mobility issues. I can envision returning veterans who may find this home particularly appealing.

Elaine Ostroff: This is a home where I could live happily - now at an active age 77 and in the future where I may be less mobile. The overall location as well as the amenities indoors and outdoor are aesthetically pleasing and support my lifestyle and values.
