FreeGreen In Finals of Big Idea Competition

Hello FreeGreeners,

As I alluded to in my last post FreeGreen has some exciting news around a new competition in which we have made the finals.  The competition is called the Business Idea Competition and is run by BR Ventures and the Cornell University - Johnson School.  Out of many entrants FreeGreen made it to a final list of just eight.  I just finished presenting to a panel of VC's, startup lawyers, and more.  All found the FreeGreen idea very exciting and I am now awaiting the final results which will be announced at 7:30PM tonight.  We are looking forward to placing well in this competition, and using the prize money to continue to bring you the greatest FreeGreen house plans possible.  Again, please stay posted over the weekend as I am expecting to be able to post some early renderings of the Suburban Loft Product Line (to be launched on April 18th).

Also, a number of people have mentioned that they would like to see smaller "less expensive" house plans on the site.  We hear you, and are already turning our attention to the Smart Box Product Line.  This product line (to be out at the end of April or early May) will directly address these concerns.  As we progress I will continue to update you on this new Product Line and what it will mean for you.  In the meantime keep the feedback coming.  We are here for you, and are committed to making this site what you want to build, not what we want to design.
